Very nice, buffet not good and very little choice

The lunch menu is always delicious and probably cooked by someone who has learned his trade. The portion sizes are sometimes with some room for improvement.

Good cake, real filter coffee, good ambience to the former steelworks. And friendly service. That's fun.

The coffee is really good, the food rather mediocre. The service unfortunately very different in terms of friendliness. I had difficulty getting into the pump house with the stroller, a member of staff not far from me saw it, but ignored me. Something like this has never happened to me anywhere else!

The pump house is located on the area of ​​the Centennial Hall in Bochum. Great industrial culture. It is definitely worth looking at the building from the outside and inside. There is a weekly menu with three dishes to choose from. In addition, practically everything in drinks you can imagine. The prices are at a normal level and are adapted to what is on offer. We liked the food very much. The staff is very friendly towards the guests. We can definitely recommend the pump house.

The pump house is ideal for a stopover on a bike tour along the ore railway line. Pure industrial culture. More like a canteen than a restaurant, the pump house offers a small selection of daily changing dishes (including always a vegetarian one) at very reasonable prices. There is also a wide variety of drinks and snacks, some of which are fairly traded.

Was there for the Retro Game Day event. It was a nice day the small exhibition of the devices for playing was very interesting but the prices for drinks and food were very expensive. A 0'33 Cola € 3.50 really expensive. Even more than at Gamescom.

A nice location for a snack or a coffee in between. Modern, simply limited to the essentials. We love to be here on bike tours.

Stumbled upon it by accident. A place to like. The right place to go after a walk through the Westpark to strengthen yourself a little: it starts with the ambience: the high hall with the old bridge crane above the counter, the simple and cozy design that invites you to linger. I like the room when the sun shines through the windows in the morning and casts its shadows. The "morning" brings me to the simple and very delicious breakfast buffet and the friendly staff, who make the stay so pleasant. By the way, the best breakfast eggs are available here: the egg yolks are still liquid and the eggs are hot (not like in many breakfast restaurants, where the eggs are often lukewarm and hard-boiled).

Break for half the distance of the bike tour, then back via the ore railway line!
